Possibly, if you predict a dump or spike, vix will go up. But unless you thought it through, I would not trade vix long term...spike avtundi anukunna mundu day you can trade vix. Same with crash prediction mundu.

You have to study the market before active day trading. I made a lot of money in 2022 trading SQQQ, SOXS as well as puts on SPY... But that is clear downward trend day-to-day basis. 2023 was hard to predict but 2024 was pretty flat so came up with SVIX strategy.
