Musk is such a dumb idiot when it comes to job cuts..

It’s funny that we think they care about innovation. It’s all about profits.

They will make foreign goods and services so expensive through tariffs, to ensure their market is still intact without any innovation. Not sure if it will work on the long run. But that’s how they are envisioning things.

He cut twitter staff by 80%... - No innovation, twitter is running as a legacy platform.. It is same as what it is 5 years back. It is valued at less than 70% since he bought at 44 billion. https://techcrunch.com/2024/01/02/fidelity-marks-down-x-to-almost-a-third-of-the-investment-price/

He cut 14000 or 10% in 2024 in Tesla .. - No innovation.. Same model 3 / model Y , and now that stock is also in dump as BYD and other EV are taking his market share. The stock went only recently up after trump win and is now back to reality

All big tech companies (meta, apple, google , amazon ) think job cuts will help them.. but, without morale boost to existing employees , they will be burnt out and no innovation is going to happen.

Now this useless guy thinks govt job cuts (DOGE)will help. Govt job is not a tech company where innovation happens usually, and now with job cuts, who is there to innovate or improve it ?

conservative mind and innovation cannot go together.. forcing might end up a failure product

Anna,  Twitter (now X) was indeed losing money on a daily basis before Elon Musk's acquisition, with Musk himself stated they were losing over $4 million a day..

https://www.cbsnews.com/sanfrancisco/news/elon-musk-claims-twitter-losing-4-million-per-day-widespread-layoffs/

So loss making company loo innovation yekkada nunchi vastundi cheppu anna ?  First yevarayina they will try to cut down the costs and losses and then slowly start innovation once things stabilizes..

Twitter loo he did made few changes anukunta after acquisition like now they integrated GrokAI kuda kada.

In long run Musk aims to transform X into an "everything app", akin to WeChat

I agree, that it was loss making, but, with job cuts and advertisers leaving, he couldn't turn it into profit

I was expecting this over last 2 years, but, and still did not move any further. https://www.cnbc.com/2023/07/26/elon-musks-x-rebrand-reignites-goal-to-turn-twitter-into-chinas-wechat.html

you are right...musk mawa di main goal election ki before twitter koni, cleanup chesi malli thatha ni gelipinchali and he succeeded. So ee process lo innovation ki scope ledhu...just huge cost cut, get rid of legacy mindset in the company and flip the election. Now he is too busy in doge thing...adi inko 1+yr nadusthundi and eventually when doge is closed, he may focus back on his companies again....we dont know that yet.

Govt does not need to innovate ani maga hats ghoshing. Minimum fiscal governance is their core principle anyway.

Tesla's market cap stood at $724.7 billion—about four times BYD’s anna..  so still electric car loo tesla is leading though i agree they badly need more innovation .. first and foremost cheaper car models to compete with likes of chinese BYD

Tesla is the only US car company that is innovating..

Optimus, Self driving, Solar, Semi trucks, nationwide charging network, super speed car like Roadster, etc.. but they have to scale up on some of these products very fast..

they are lagging behind the Chinese companies who are doing rapidly and at scale too..

Recent bad reputation that Musk got with DOGE is a big drawback to Tesla which will bring its sales down a lot..
