Treadmill running is boring. Suggest tried and tested shoes which work on concrete. Got lot of shin splints in the past with incorrect shoes.

feet fleet ki velli volumental analysis chepinchukoni take the suggestions and buy the shoes based on your feet structure. there is no one type of shoe fits all for running.

Hoka -- arahi or gaviota
Brooks GT
Ascis Gel kayano
new Balance 860V12S
nike structure

Brooks Glycerine

Guiderail

ivanni stability based shoes. 300-400 USD not necessarily transfers to comfort and performance, you have to find right ones for the right foot, flat footed vunte OP ?

Calf stretch is important before and after running for shin splints… and choose supporting shoes for your arch… you may have high arch and need supporting shoes…

My Suggestion, do not buy online

Visit Asics showroom or any other brand, talk to sales people, explain the problem.

as everyone mentioned, Hoka, On, Brooks, Underarmour, Nike anything works but if you have a specific foot issue, you need shoe which works for it than the brand.

You can buy this only by talking sales folks and trying them in shop

PS: for me Underarmour works better than costlier ones like Hoka or On or Saucony

shin splints ante you may be trying to run fast or taking longer steps. suggest to slow down and make more steps rather than longer steps. Also if you are running down slope, do not get take it easy and try to run fast, down slopes are the worst. Also try to get some theragun kind of tools to help you with them before and after runs. Key is pre-run stretching and smaller steps for your shin splits. Ofcourse shoes matter too, but mainly your own running form comes first.

Costco lo Hoka Bondi on sale now, enjoy

Also try come compression socks (upto knee level dorukuthaayi), until you get into form and come out of your shin splits.

I will do calf stretches from now. I never go above 6mph. My avg is 4.5 to 5.5. So fast is ruled out. I cannot run on front foot as many suggest. I am a midfoot runner. Is that an issue? During running everything seems normal. The legs are sore to touch at nights and later when I walk during the day.
