same situation..I am the most talented and hard working in the team. But team politics push me so much that I turn arrogant. Fighting.

If you are talented and hardworking than all others, they will try to trouble you with politics, as they are worried, management might rate you higher. It is always better to be in the above average category and maintain good relations. divert the extra efforts on company to self.

No one tries to be arrogant knowingly. If you feel it so, it is better to begin humbleness before any casualty.

Fullly talented. Lot of arrogance in meetings.
question everything . Tikka dobbi management fired. Papam h1b.  This post is for folks who can learn from this.

Give some more details bro, what kind of arrogance in meetings, who/how exactly they got triggered? Some doesn’t even know they are offending, so might be helpful for some here.

Without sharing information. They will try not to let me have visibility to many tasks and they will take their sweet time to complete it leaving me without work and then they will show it like I am not interested in working.  Finally when I come to know what they are working on during calls, I get furious and end up asking questions that they missed in their analysis.  It’s a cycle of toxicity.

there are many people who escape from these scenarios. They give clear KT on easy topics and explain the same things repeatedly.

don’t drag things if there   is disagreement that’s fine move on. No need to go circles.

1st level We need to know our limits. When big guy talks listen 1st. no need to correct details  or cross talk or over power him.

2nd level: We need to understand behavior of the manager what kind of person he is and deal accordingly.

3rd. don’t say the things that everyone knows by talking like that you are wasting everyone time and don’t complicate things.

It all depends on work culture. Dont argue or be rude behave according to work culture.

One best test to see you are being arrogant or not is do you have confidence that they will rehire you back if you leave and comeback ?

if you leave team members in your team should not feel happy that you are leaving.

We need to know when to cut meeting and move on understand objective and say yes even if you don’t like the approach

in the end I look for paycheck no need to tear cut drawer even the approach you don’t like it.
