We have improving tech in Hypersonic, Just tested scramjet engines which will power the hypersonic cruise missiles. We are two years away from operating Hypersonic missile and this is one area where India got it right. Russia fired an hypersonic missile…the only one on earth to do so. And India fired Brahmos supersonic and hit pakistan airfields….Just an example of how devastating they can be. Nothing can stop them.. Quote

Bangaldesh…Such a small airspace, fifth gen aircraft needs to slow down to third gen and then fire if at all if there is any need….Short range missiles work more effectively and considering Bangla airforce strengths, I do not see any threat from them in any situation. I beg to differ with your logic You can differ…HAL had supersonic aircraft Marut way back in the 60’s and MiG are also supersonic. But supersonic cruise tech in missiles was there around for 20-30 years only and even today a handful of countries possess cruise tech missiles which can hit at supersonic speeds. Where as stealth…max 5 years and there will be tech which can even detect stealth. This makes all existing stealth aircrafts downgrade to a gen four. Where as hypersonic missiles, they are visible in the radar and can be tracked by air defense but nothing can be done to stop them. This is the need of the hour.. We missed two generations in defence tech but glad we invested in future techs and stuff that we need, not the world. Quote

Just in case if someone comes up with a tech which can detect stealth, all these investments into so called futuristic tech will literally downgrade their military infra. Speed is the need of the hour, not stealth. Quote
