I flew AI couple of times in the recent past form NY to Delhi and then to Hyd. My experience was good, except the infotainment system. I didn't have to deal with leaking or clogged bathrooms and stuff like that.

AI is also having new flights from some airports like iad…you do some research online to find if it new or old 

go in AI and save 300$…travel and flight wise emi issues undavu 

only 2 things that might be different are support and service … if you want to change your travel plans and rebook calling ai customer support could be nightmare ..it doesn’t allow to modify your itenary online always…and bathroom clogging which is rear scenario But also is an issue with passengers lack of basic sense and not a problem with airline

I took an air india flight from JFK last year and I pledged not to fly in that ever again...was traveling with 2 kids...

seats were horrible

In-flight screens didn't work

Seats didn't recline

Handles didnt go up

Food was horrible

Restrooms smelled like sulabh

A350s are much better , Clogged toilets are not due to Air India but its passengers who are doing it. Emirates lo cheste Dubai lo lopala vestaaru ani bhayam

i travelled in SFO-BLR in early 2024, it was good, it was a refurbished Delta airlines Boeing.
