US has airbases all over the middle east like UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, etc. - all these are right next to Iran. So, they are not dependent on Pakistan to attack Iran. 1 Quote

I think Pakistan is aggressively promoting the idea that Trump ended the war because they always wanted to internationalize the issue. They also realized that Trump likes to take credit for it. So, for them, it is like hitting two birds with one stone. They also saw how India is angry about this and said many times that Trump had nothing to do with ending the war. So, when they saw this, they doubled down and said Trump should get the Nobel Peace Prize for ending the war. And Asim Munir's invitation to the White House is Trump rewarding them for being on his side (in addition to Crypto investments in Pak, but that is another story). Quote
