I would say no one can predict market, yahoo finance lo all kind of analysts give interviews with their own agenda or message.

It involves a lot of deep analysis research involved before they post such content in their medium. 

They use data and metrics when they make such predictions anna.. 

Pandemic times lo low inventory annaru ... that was very true and we all witnessed how it impacted the prices to move towards the higher trajectory.

but ipudu unna situations lo.. lot and lots inventory homes and pre-owned homes not selling and sitting in market for months and months.. so it will get worse for sure after August.

Ee year end lopu 2 to 3 rate cuts are coming, fed us under a lot if pressure. mostly next month itself they might start cutting. Once the rates drop into 5s home prices will stabilise. 
 

By end of 2025, the rate will be in 5s and prices will stabilise 

By end of 2026, the rates might be in high 4s and the Home prices will start seeing an uptick again albeit slowly. 
 

I don’t see the rates going into 3s in the foreseeable future unless there is a major recession or correction
