Coconut Posted August 6 Report Posted August 6 Just a suggestion—before doing any water sport, ask all your friends if they're confident swimmers. someone who is only a semi-swimmer can panic and unintentionally pull others down, putting even strong swimmers at risk. Quote

Anna It's not that making fun I am worried about more drowning accidents happening in last 1-2 years to our telugu folks Many don't know swimming and are adamant not to learn. This is concerning factor. Even if we learn in swimming pools it's still not enough to survive in flowing water currents. if it sounded rude to u 1 Quote
rasalu Posted August 15 Report Posted August 15 Seems like they just took off life jackets to take pictures and the boat flipped when 3 of the 6 got out of the boat. One was able to catch the rope and others could not. The one fellow who knows swimming was in shock and couldn't do anything. Quote

Begin by holding onto a rod or side wall of the pool and kicking your legs. Once you’re comfortable with the leg movement, try holding the rod with just one hand, kick other hand while kicking with your legs. Then, release the rod with both hands. I learned this way. Don’t go straight into 6-foot deep water, start in 3- or 4-foot depths. you can do it in your community pool or at home Quote
