India temporarily suspends Postal services to US amid Trump's 50% tariffs tantrum

The Government of India's Department of Posts, on 23 August 2025, announced that it had issued an executive order temporarily suspending all types of postal articles to the United States amid Trump's 50% tariffs.

The Government of India's Department of Posts, on Saturday, 23 August 2025, announced that it has issued an executive order temporarily suspending all types of postal articles to the United States amid US President Donald Trump's 50% tariffs on India.

According to the official announcement, the temporary suspension will be in effect except for the letters or documents and gift items which have a value of up to $100.
