Racism doesn't mean marching out in streets. You could be suited, booted and smiling and still be racist. Some amount of tribalism is inherent among all groups.

You cannot expect an entire group to keep mum when you  keep importing other group in huge numbers.

That's a direct replacement tactic. Any such tactic in India would be met with brute physical force using sticks, or clubs.  It didn't come to that in Canada. Sure there will be some who don't like any sort of immigration outside Europeans. The current level of immigration especially from Trudeau's second term is both subversion of immigration tradition held till then and is unsustainable.

What some immigrants don't realize is that there will always be a section of the native population who will not care if they came legally and are contributing to society. They will still be despised based on their skin color, even if they are completely integrated with the local population. They don't care if that brown person came illegally or is a highly educated doctor or a scientist - for them, they are still polluting their society and taking their jobs.

Having said that, the immigrants should still try to integrate as much as they can instead of forming nationality/caste-based cliques and doing silly things like blocking the roads, celebrating religious festivals, or hyping new movie releases, which I think is unique to Indian immigrants and has made them one of the most hated groups these days.

What many dont realize is the isalamaayization of the west. vallatho polchukunte manam nothing. When I first came to Windsor, it was quiet, peaceful majority thella and uow desi students....by the time of leaving, all parks and public places were full of nalla vasthramulu valla udyama santhanam....
