Shot gun is very different from bolt action rifle, because of the pellets. If sniping is as easy as you seem to think, then Military and Police SWAT teams are needlessly spending Hundreds of thousands of dollars every year to train snipers

I have a hypothesis. It’s probably a Rebellious attitude developed due to overwhelmingly indoctrinated parents? I could be wrong. But the kid ruined his life

You seem to be very naive in understanding sniping skills. Years of practice is only one variable. If that's the only factor, you account for then SWAT teams and Military don't even need sniper and counter sniper training at all. Hitting something as small as 10mm wide from a distance of 200+ yards is a military/intelligence grade marksman skill.
