Last night in Los Angeles, stars gathered together to celebrate the top 10 CNN Heroes of 2010.

Of the 10 finalists, the public voted for one winner.

Nepalese anti-slavery activist Anuradha Koirala was named the winner, CNN Hero of the Year, and awarded $100,000 for her organization.

Koirala's organization, Maiti Nepal, has rescued 12,000 girls from slavery since 1993.
