pretty much same...

costco ki milk and eggs ani velli...anavasram ga edo okati kontunnammm.chivariki ok $200 - $250 avutundi....

so stopped going there...

Thought it was only me. Paper towel and bathroom tissue ani velli came with chicken, lamb chops, turkey, taco ani edo edo esukuni vacha.

Its better to buy paper towels/bath tissue from walmart as and when needed instead of going to costco ani decide ayya.

  1. We stopped going to Costco..going once in 2 months only...earlier 2-3 times a month.

  2. Shopping restricted to highly discounted stores like LIDL and ALDI.

  3. Stopped frequenting to Italy/France/Germany/Switzerland. Earlier used to cover 2-3 cities every occassion of Christmas, Easter, Summer holidays

  4. Cut down children sports/social/culture clubs. Reduced private tutoring hours.

  5. Sending money to India took a hit by at least 50%....sending limited to parents and siblings care.

  6. Reduced travel altogether.

  7. No more investment on home decoration and upgrades.

  8. No excess shopping on shoes, leather ware, cloths etc.

What else you guys saving on while in USA?

degrees are mostly for fundamentals.... boot camps and certifications don't teach fundamentals -- job oriented only.

anna it’s just a paper degree

reson we go to school or college is to socialize, discipline, structured learning, identify tools required to live in a society etc..

itd not about certificate

For example you will learn about vernier calipers which you never use, but if you become car mechanic you will use it to measure the part to cut and fit in exact space

I was taking about real degrees and colleges — not out Indian btech. One thing is sure it’s an outdated curriculum in most of the colleges - AI shift valla some change can be expected.

All these things are luxuries not necessities, you are doing it right if money is an issue. I encourage to spend only if you have excess money flow. Lekapothe nuvu cheppina things lekapothe haply ga brathakochu show off badha kuda undadhu
