Since you liked Midsommar, try watching cuckoo. Its got nothing in common with Midsommar, its just that if you are bored of typical horror movie like jump scares or Gore kinda movies, then movies like Cuckoo, Impetigore, the barbarian. I watch a lot of horror movies so much so that I think I got thick skinned to get disturbed by movies, but if you really want to get disturbed, learn about people like Phill Scully, Mathews (Lux). I got pretty disturbed when I learnt about Daisy's Destruction and other dark web stuff.

cuckoo 2024 movie..? added to the list

Impetigore, the barbarian also...new movie names to me...i will add them too my list..

here..disturb means..it doesnt always to be horror or gore...some thought..which penetrates your mind is always disturbing...which shatters your existing believes is also disturbing movie...

for example...interstellar is disturbing movie for me...thats the movie showed the GHOST concept in scientific way...than any other movies showed ghost in crazy makeups or jump scares... distrub means it suppose to inject some thought in my mind which i am ready to believe .. finally i think about it

(note: not those propagandas movies for political benefits which releases during election times) ...

No country for old men

No country for old men is 🔥🔥

Altered carbon series not horror more dystopian

Kathanayakudu, panduranga

If you don't mind horror/supernatural, Pyewacket (2017) is one good movie. My view is that if you have ever dabbled into occult practices, this movie represents the closest manifestation.

If you want to try HP LoveCroft horror genre, Annihilation is a good start, for it being a modern adaptation.
