Based on your symptoms i am guessing either "Vitamin D deficiency might be the problem or may be you have thyroid issue thats need to be checked." this is my guess dont take my word for it. if these two are the problems its manageable no need to worry too much. usually alcohol causes malabsorption of nutrients in GI tract and liver. Dont forget to mention your alcohol history to the doctor and ask him whether liver needs to be checked. Plz dont go back to drinking it gets worse, there is no safety limit for alcohol. Also update the outcome it might help others.
