April 10Apr 10 Hey guys, just curious—why would someone choose to move back to India after living in the US for many years? Is it mainly for family, lifestyle, or better opportunities back home? Or do things like cost of living, culture, and work-life balance play a bigger role?Would love to hear your experiences and reasons!

Its not by choice. Consider Job loss, Immigration issues, health issues, etc. Some people (minority) leave for various reasons - Raise kids in India, better social life, get out of rat race and do something that they love (Business, take care of lands, etc), take care of their elderly, old flames (yes this one too), etc.

They want to go back in their mind, but the fact that they want to live close to their kids, they never live.
April 10Apr 10 Popular Post Another reason why most people don't leave is due to Wives and teenage kids. Wife's love the life here. No relatives or in-laws to bother. Husbands in control due to no extracurricular activities like pekata, race course, betting, bars, wine shops, chilakottudu, extra marital affairs, etc. They do more help in household chores (Societal pressure) and help with kids' activities. No one does this in India. They have cars + Drivers and easy household help.Men, of course, love life in India for all the reasons above. They can have more ME-Time and ignore everything else from their wives and kids.Basically MEN are tamed in US. Their wildness comes out in places with less rules, controls, and more options.

They were in US for more than a decade before moving back. They kept complaining that customer service sux in USA.And they started travelling to Asian countries after that.My school mates who came here were so disappointed. They were saying that US is like a third world country and feels so cheap. They laughed when the luxury Hotel was skimping on toothbrush and toothpaste.US was far ahead 15 years ago......now the situation has reversed.Only place where its ahead still is the investment into R&D which is changing as well but at a slower pace.
