Samasaram chese capacity undhi, santhannani choosukovadaniki resources unnappudu, why can't Hindoos men have multiple wives? What's even wrong in it? Women always choose men with surplus for resource safety. 1955 dhaka, Jains, Sikh, Hindoo, Buddhist men are allowed to take multiple wives.

Per scriptures, there is NO obstacle to polygamy. Infact Hindoo legends like Ramayana and Mahabharata are rife with examples of Polygamy.

what resources. What is the quality of life without largely depending on the govt.

You don't need to depend on the government at all. Quality of Life is relative.

There is no chaos. It's just a presumption. Those that maintain keeps or setups (English lo Concubine antaru ani mana vallu brief chesaru) do it anyway. The key differentiator has always been wealth & power. If you have them, you're even above whatever gibberish the law is. Those cradled in power & wealth often take multiple wives, just get divorced on paper, what's then wrong in having them together? Then there are Kings, Princes who marry multiple times across the world.

What a legal scenario like that does is to make resource starved men also starve for women, as resource rich end taking majority of Women for themselves. It's same case even in "supposedly" monogamous society.

Boomers -- not enough people used to survive , no modern medicine /vaccines. Life expectancy improved and now everyone wants some quality in life.

Life expectancy crashed and then got up. It's not that life expectancy is low all through out the history. You're talking of a very small period of time on a historic scale, probably about 200 years or so. This is because of famines (natural & artificially created ones), wars and plagues.

Quality of Life is a relative concept and individual preference varies. There is no standard base line.

Those having less or no children/ family may have set a quality of life that demand more income - mostly to match peers.

Some can have a yatch have three girlfriends and have babies with them and a wife at home. So?

One of the reason - Gemini.

Child Welfare

Research in evolutionary biology and sociology suggests that children in monogamous households often fare better.

Paternal Investment: When a father only has one family, he is more likely to invest time, protection, and money into his specific children.

Reduced Neglect: In very large polygamous families, the "dilution" of resources and attention can lead to higher rates of child mortality or neglect.

Interesting Fact: Even though about 80% of historical human societies permitted polygamy in some form, the vast majority of people within those societies still lived in monogamous pairs simply because having multiple wives was too expensive for the average person

Objectively false, sort of "social conditioning". How do you think Nagarjuna's two sons are doing or Paleru 's sons and daughters are doing compared to average Suresh or Ramesh's family?

Polygamy has been a natural way as it used to be until it was banned legally. Men produce gallons of sperms since the time they hit puberty, and each sperm has capacity to produce a baby. The more babies from you the better genetic success. Which is why men are wired to have sex with multiple women. To deny that is how you condition yourself for whatsoever reasons. Law, society, peers, what not.
