Also on similar thought process of yours-- I could say, India has very less fresh water, All meat eating Indians are idiots because. Producing 1 lb of meat requires significant water, primarily for feed irrigation. Estimates indicate roughly 468–520 gallons for chicken and approximately 730–1,200+ gallons for lamb (sheep), depending on farming methods.Pulses (Lentils, Peas, Chickpeas): Use the least water, often requiring only 1/1.5th the water of chicken and 1/6th the water of beef for the same gram of protein.Soybeans/Tofu: Use approximately 6 gallons of water per gram of protein, compared to 15 gallons for milk and significantly higher for meat. Oats: Require only about 3.8 gallons per gram of protein.so everyone should stop eating meat and save water. how does this sound ? do you agree with me, if you don't agree with me you are an idiot. that's how your EV argument is.
May 5May 5 "yes for example Indians want to keep their house clean but they are okay to dump their trash in a empty land next to their house. I cannot fathom that thing, not even like blocks away just adjacent compound wall they are okay to trash."It's systemic apathy that has percolated into individual's mindset. "If I don't throw, someone else will. What's wrong in throwing it anyway?" I call it systemic because, bad governance and it's failures in creating civic consciousness led to this apathy.

Dont talk in absolutes. Clearly shows that you are not willing to listen. Keep an open mind when debating.Shifting to EVs would reduce significant amount of pollution. Isnt it good? This is something in our hands. A good person has personal responsibility towards his neigbors and his nation. It has somehow become socially acceptable to throw toxic gases on others faces while we drive by.If you think about it removing youself from its influence, you woukld find it wierd and psychotic. And then there would be network effect. For example if a road is dirty, everyone will start dumping.Similarly, once people shift to EVs, they will complain and revolt against bad construction practices, bad roads etc.Still imported oil wont go to zero as oil is needed for various other things like plastics for example. But imports would reduce by a huge amount. And this money can be diverted to other programs. In regards to food, I keep saying the same thing about Rice and meat.Reduce the amount of rice to one day a week. Shift to millets. Millets have more fiber and needs much less water than rice. Less labor intensive as well.Same with meat.....no need to stop eating it. I would say enjoy eating meat. Only way you enjoy it is when you eat once every 2 weeks. Once a month is even better. Some people eat every alternate day. Why?If you eat every alternate day, eating meat is like eating rice.

Most of the Indians cannot afford to think beyond. more importantly govt should make some laws in encouraging ppl as such (now don't tell why govt has to do everything, but if there are no rules and some subsidies it will not motivate ppl to move to EV, even china did subsidized). I think of India and Indians as a big ship, and changing direction takes time.every generation have their own thought process of spending, saving, living. that thought process has little to no overlap.

As expected, your thoughts are 10 years old and whatever I have been saying is not getting into your head. I have answered this post already. Open up your mind. Don't be closed. Its a big disease.I am applying the same logic and telling those buying a new vehicle to shift. Not telling people with old petrol to throw away. People with old vehicles can do cost analysis and shift if it makes sense.Already told you that even without solar, its much cheaper. Don't make me repeat this point again and again. Less moving parts means less maintenance and even without solar electricity is cheaper than petrol. Petrol vehicles have 10 times more moving parts.Govt is already doing a lot by providing subsidies and tax rebates. Its the idiotic people who are the problemAgain if it takes generations for change to happen, humans would be replaced and we as a species would go extinct. Wake up. If people with zero neural plasticity frustrate those who change quick, they shouldn't complain when they get left behind when the time comes. These same people will be posting sad videos as to how they have been taken advantage off in future.I would suggest you to watch some youtube videos and maybe take a test drive or talk to EV owners to warm up to this change.Poor people remain poor because of mindset not because of rich people.Idiots will remain as idiots because they chose to everyday .... not because they don't have access.I have given you lot of my precious time....but looks like your disease is beyond cure. You thinking(logical) brain isn't being used. You keep on using your primitive(emotional) part of brain for logical discussions.Putting you on ignore.

Don't make me repeat this point again and again. Less moving parts means less maintenance and even without solar electricity is cheaper than petrol. Petrol vehicles have 10 times more moving parts.--- again delusional, cheaper or expensive on the long run ppl dont care. upfront costs are expensive that's what matter to ppl Govt is already doing a lot by providing subsidies and tax rebates. Its the idiotic people who are the problem. -- for buying a ola scooter ? Again if it takes generations for change to happen, humans would be replaced and we as a species would go extinct. Wake up. EV adoption there are lots of challenges. for example- during monsoons water logging situations, and during extreme heat in summers EVs will struggle. As far as I remember on a very cold day in NorthEastern part of USA, there are some 100 Teslas that struggled to move — bit sure if thats fixed in latest models. But Indian weather and road conditions definitely offer a serious case study for EV manufacturers.

In a real practical world, there are may issues that will make you think ICE cars are better.
