psycopk jr Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 The absence of a strong leader like Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy is visible more these days with the agitation for Telangana taking new twists every passing day. As long as Dr Reddy was alive, the leaders were silent and even the TRS could not push its agenda forward. Dr Reddy had hit the TRS and the votaries of the Telangana harder and made them remain silent. Now that he is no more and the present leadership does not have the potential to oppose the pro-Telangana stand, the agitation is taking twists every day. Interestingly, the students who remained silent for several years and allowed the TRS and the Telangana Congress leaders to make use of the issue for their political gains, are in the forefront this time. Their active participation in the movement gives strength to the votaries of the issue. The active participation of the students in the movement also gives a mass appeal for the cause. It is now time for the leaders sitting at the helm to think on this and give the state at the earliest. Leaders from Andhra region like Vasantha Nageswara Rao, Chegondi Venkata Harirama Jogaiah and Kathi Padma Rao, are now dressing up for the Andhra agitation. These leaders are likely to jump into action in a day or two. People of Andhra region are not prepared to take the blames from the Telangana leaders any more. They do not want to be thieves or grabbers or exploitors any more. They have the strength to build their own capital and develop their own state as they have done for Andhra Pradesh so far.
