karthikyk Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Telugu Desam showman Balakrishna might have realised that canvassing in Pulivendula, the native place of Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy is not so easy as acting in “Samarasimha Reddy.” On Saturday, when Balaiah campaigned in Pulivendula, he thought he would challenge the Rayalaseema leaders like he did in films. Not only there were boos and heckles from the crowds at him, when he thumped thighs and twirled moustache, some of them even hurled chappals at him, when he was criticising the Congress government. Despite warning from the police, Balaiah stretched his speech beyond a limit and had to face chappal attack from the people. After all, he should have taken tuitions from other Desam leaders before venturing into YSR bastion.
