Sonia has stolen my voter card: Paul

Poor evangelist-turned-political leader K A Paul seems to have gone really mad. Leave alone contesting elections and fielding candidates on behalf of his Praja Shanti Party, Paul cannot even vote in the elections, because he has not registered his name in the voters’ list.

Paul says his name was deliberately deleted from the voters list. And the authorities did not issue him a voter identity card. “Actually, there is a card on my name. But AICC president Sonia Gandhi or Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has stolen it from the authorities, so as to prevent me from contesting the elections and also exercising my franchise,” he said.

He created a ruckus at the office of Chief Electoral Officer I V Subba Rao on Friday night, before he was arrested and taken out.
