Of course, there is resentment among women in every political party, but since Chiranjeevi promised to give more tickets to women in the elections, there is a disappointment among them for not being given tickets. PRP official spokesman Vasireddy Padma expressed her anguish over denial of ticket to her and also to her husband. In fact, she has been playing active role in the party as a spokesperson, but unfortunately, Chiranjeevi did not recognise her talent. So is the case with Mahila Rajyam president Shobha Rani. Though she religiously followed the instructions of Chiranjeevi in launching a verbal attack on Telugu Mahila president Roja, she did not get the ticket, which went to Katti Padma Rao. Naturally, she got disappointment for lack of recognition in the PRP. Of course, both the leaders did not spell out their future plans. As of now, they may continue in the PRP, but after elections, there would be lot of desertions back into the Congress or TDP.
