There have been several cases against students in the last two months, who have been fighting for separate Telangana. Several of them are in the jails and some of them on bail. Unfortunately, over a dozen of them have committed suicide for the cause. Still, they continue the struggle.

But, here is an emerging leader – Kalvakuntla Kavitha – who wants Telangana State, who wants people of the region to come on to the streets, fight for the cause, even ready for any sacrifice. But, she does not want even a single case to be registered against her. She gives an inspiring call to the students to dare the cops, face their canes and not to rest until the demand for Telangana state is fulfilled.

But, she does not like to do all these things for the same cause which she preaches. She does not want to get arrested for the cause. She moves earth and heaven to get one single case squashed by the court of law and thus escape from being arrested.

The Kalvakurthy police have registered a case against her for her provocative remarks against “Adurs” film of Junior NTR. She had opposed the release of the film because it was produced by two Telugu Desam leaders – Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi – who are integrationists.

Kavitha, daughter of TRS chief, K Chandrasekhar Rao, called upon the people, youth and students to oppose the release of the film. She dared the producers to release the film in Telangana theaters. She wanted students to destroy the film banners, posters and theaters.

Now, she is fighting a legal battle to get the case cleared. She had approached the High Court seeking withdrawal of the case registered against her. That is her commitment for the cause of Telangana. It speaks volumes of her Telangana patriotism. It reflects her dedication for Telangana and her leadership for Telangana movement.

Kavitha, her father KCR, brother, Tarakarama Rao and all of her family members have dedicated their lives for Telangana and leading the movement without getting arrested, while hundreds of students are in the jails or attending to the courts.
