jbourne Posted November 29, 2012 Report Posted November 29, 2012
Do we really know what we want? Andaru antuu untaru kada… "My dad wants me to become a doctor.. or engineer.. or lawyer.. or IAS/IPS.. or (so..n..so).. But, those things never interested me. Since childhood, I always wanted to become a xxxx.. And so, here I’m now… successful… satisfying…blah..blah..!! I always follow my heart … and I wish everybody can follow theirs" ani... Either with respect to our careers or life or anything: I believe most of us (Indians) are NOT in control of own decisions. But on the other hand, do we really know what we want in that-age? Can we really follow our hearts? What is your perceptive on this? Plz share
yes you can follow your heart if you want to no matter what the society (which is the one we mostly think off) thinks abt u no matter what hinders you but u shud neva give up but i did (of course some bad attitude helped me though) I have ppl around me who even quit their job to pursue what they aspire mostly we have economic constrains if we hail from a middle class our thoughts will be the same in most cases we jus go by the niche where we r brought up . if someone in our locality becomes a doc n makes fortune we want to be like him or if some one in the neighbourhood been to US made money we want to be like him we tend to look at others n try to emulate them. we will follow our heart wen we made to think freely n made to expose ourselves to different corners i think most of us dont even get to explore outside world till completion of schooling. I put myself lucky in this regard but at the same tym i was unable to figure out what my heart says
