smoke420 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 * Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja's hopes of playing the Premier Leaguewent up in air like a smoke from cigar after the IPL governing council turned down his appeal against a one-year ban for violating the Twenty20 event's terms and conditions. * Jadeja was banned for negotiating outside his contract with the Rajasthan Royals.In his appeal, the all-rounder claimed that he had taken the BCCI's permission to look for other teams after the Royals gave no indication of renewing his contract which ended in December last year. * "He (Manohar) did not want to set a wrong precedent, so he dismissed the request.
