Politicians role enti.. to create good laws, define regulations, decide on how to tax, decide on how to spend the tax money etc..

 

Bureaucracy role is to implement them and create an environment of trust between govt and the people.

 

Since we have the power to elect a representative, we should elect someone who's atleast familiar with these functions... put in some work in these areas... knows the problems of the particular constituency he represents. 

 

Theoretically, we should elect someone who has leadership qualities. Not everyone has them. Definitely not Chiranjeevi.

 

Days of having 'social responsibility' and doing personal charity are over long ago, coke. Denikaina critical mass kaavali.. Edho iddariki help chesthunna ani santosha padakudadhu... Its much better to take the time to find out the best charity in your line of interest (say edu, health, etc) and donate to them and make them accountable.

 

Same goes for the government.
