He has rates for each veggie like American store has. Like when they have 5 varieties of tomatoes, they maintain code for each variety and their rate. They just enter the code of that variety in the system and system will pick the rate and calculate with weight. May be the Indian store guy do not have capability to maintain those codes in system and maintain them somewhere outside the system. This is my understanding.
