first, I'm not narasayya.

and topics in climate science is one of the couple dozen research problems I'll be working on this fall. But not on climate modeling.

In the objective sense, to me, it is the most important issue facing mankind, but we need better sensors, analytics, and advances in quantum chemistry before we can make better predictions on weather. Right now, we are just shooting in the dark, like we are with neuroscience in our attempt to build Machine Intelligence.

It can be done, and will probably be done in a couple decades.

On the macro level, its obvious that Glaciers are melting at a faster rate around the world, but some of the predictions based on climate models are laughable, and will not pass peer reviews. There is enough hysteria created around global warming in the media these days.

For now, its better to lean on the safer side, and cut emissions. Since everybody is busy making predictions, and introducing killer compound every month, its better to focus on cutting down actual pollution, than to focus obsessively on Co2 levels.

Man cannot stop climate change, but he can live with dignity, try to breath fresh air, until he drowns.

Its been denounced completely. These kind of ridiculous claims are what are laughable.

There's no way to measure if meat consumption impacts environment. Just pick up a research paper and read it. The claims are all based on calorie content, and supply chain economics.

That's not the way to measure if something impacts the environment.
