No need to pay any court fees.

First you need to send a letter ( write details of your transaction date and the time frame you agreed to get the money back) - registered mail with signature confirmation. You can find the format online. No need for attorney for this step. Send a letter by yourself and include a date for deadline in that letter.

Second - Call him and tell him that you already contacted attorney and you are going per his recommendation. Tell him that - final settlement will include - the money he need to pay you and also all the expenses you had for court/ attorney.

Third - Just fill a form in court- Small Claims. He will receive a notice and will have a hearing.

As long as you have proofs of transsction- you don't need an attorney. You can present yourself.

Once court gives you decision in your favour. - There are several ways you can get the money.

Getting decision in your favour won't guarantee payment - but it brings fear in them as you will have several ways to send him notices.

Finally by second step if anyone is working in a job will not want to take risk and try to resolve the issue.

I faced a similar situation for $5000. After step 2 - got my money back in 2 days.

Small Claims in only valid for specific duration- transaction should be within 2 yrs depending on state.

No need for attorney until step 3- hearing.

relative 2 asking from many days , relative 1 saying adigo istha idhigo istha
