being a CM, you are expected to control and handle the administration and party...that's what leadership is all about. but in NTR's case, all the crisis which NTR faced were because of his inefficiency as a leader/CM.

1. Nadendla Bhaskar Rao revolt  is nothing but a truly classic example of leadership failure by NTR

2. Dissolving assembly and going for fresh mandate less than a year, is another classic example of leadership failure.

3. Implemented welfare schemes out of his emotions and most of them failed, thanks to the unpreparedness of the govt.

4. Lost in MLA elections. Sitting CM losing elections itself is an example of a failed administration. Kalwakurthy 1989.

5. Did not attend assembly between 1989 and 1994. He is supposed to be the leader of the opposition but choose not at attend the assembly as he lost the elections. NTR should have respected the people's mandate and acted as leader of opposition respectfully than staying away from the assembly.

6. Lakshmi Parvati and things happened after that, NTR is solely responsible for this mess. 

 

For the above said reason, NTR may have entered politics with a good will but as a CM, he could not provide stable and effective administration. May have succeeded as a film star but a failed politician. 

I can show you more than 40 things which show his leadership qualities and audacity to go any extent to help the poor.
