I guess probably it depends on your status . Like I showed in the screen shot it is showing 15.60 for me. If you are aa platinum or executive platinum it will be cheaper I think

The way I do it I just apply the same card every 2 years and cancel the old one so that I can keep getting that initial 70000 miles offer which you get in the email

See if you apply Citi aa card, - you get 70000 miles and then apply Barclays aa personal and business card you get 12000 miles in three months so total is 190000 miles -

that makes total of 250,000 miles for 4425. enough for two business class upgrades return in off peak season.

Miles tho British airways tickets book cheyadam waste. Their taxes are high. Economy JR 400 to 500 untai taxes
