It is going through the same phase Cameras went through from rolls to digital.

It is going through the same phase phones went from normal -> smartphones

 

Sitharaman instead of saying this as her analysis, should have quoted the industry expert Anand Mahindra, who originally said this.

That was what expected rather than coming up with some weird reasons.. There can be effect due to more ola/uber usage but its pretty minimal..

Automobile is in flux, similar to many industries that have gone through.

The flux includes

- new technologies

- peoples choices

- uncertainty
