Flip side since life was so easy they didn't have enough motivation to invest in India.. people who didn't save much or didn't start businesses have nothing to show now except for citizenship and teenage kids .

Similar thing happened with a relative. One person (Person A) didn't get into any business seriously and other person(Person invested in tech training in late 90's . Person B who started the tech training business earned like crazy like around 400 cr. Persona A is successful too with a paid off home, kids doing well in school and nice family life but he could have made a lot more money potentially if he had capitalized on the opportunities in late 90's.

Depends on the organization, if you want to work for FBI or NASA, you need clearance. So, you need to be USC. With GC you can apply for some National labs like Lawrence Berkeley, you can apply with GC, but benefits are lower.
