There is a word for it, it's called evolution. Just like humans have, other life forms can as well.

Some things are not scientifically proven. Much before modern medicine evolute, cow urine has its usage for centuries. It’s effectiveness has always been in question but if we keep aside the religious and political affiliation aside, may be if a neutral ground is established and proper studies are conducted, there may be  credible finding. 
 

Suppose, if the studies are done during BJP regime..we know what the result would be...similarly if studies are conducted in Congress regime, we know what the result would look like...even if the findings are true, we will have tough time to get convinced.
