Sep-30 lopu if u dont file .. u can not file for i765 and i131 .. which are for EAD and AP

renewals are not tied up with the FAD or Filing  dates, they get renewals until 485 approval.

only thing is AP approvals are slow.

For derivatives I think other option is to file I-130 and apply in family based quota . It it always current
