If you want to worry free, go with premium

Some of them got the GC in 3 months and some of them filed in 2020 and still waiting to get DC.Get the I-140 approved and if the dates current you can file for EAD.

AC21 portability applies here. So once after 180 days any employer if they had the same type of role and wage level can port their 485 application by filing 485j and you dont need to start again from perm. Bottom line is that your 485 application needs to be pending for more than 180days then your good. If something happens before then need to start everything again.
