antey current ayyaka kuda 140 premium + 485 okesari file cheyyachu kada .. I know 140 and 485 are two different applications. not trying to save money. Just trying to understand if going with premium will give me any advantage.

Just file in regular now. Filing Date current avagane premium chesko. You never know regular might approve meanwhile. If you want to worry free, go with premium

@Spartan @csrcsr Nammaskaram to Immi experts in the community. I recently applied to 485 AOS in EB3 (PD DEC 2014) and my date may not be current for 2 years at least. one quick question, Is there any timeline to switch companies while a 485 is pending in case job is l o s t?

We will never know how USCIS will move the dates. Recent history shows its better to get approved everything. Some of them got the GC in 3 months and some of them filed in 2020 and still waiting to get DC.

Get the I-140 approved and if the dates current you can file for EAD.

timeline emi undadu unless your PD is current. kotta wmployer ki move aite how soon can u get 140 and 485 processes is the question. consultancy aite ok kaani full time aite matram a process will take 1.5 years easily..

Job lost ante if you’re on h1b you dont need to worry about 60days h1 rule as 485 pending means your in status and use ead to find a job. find a employer who is ready to port your 485 if its been pending for more than 180 days. AC21 portability applies here. So once after 180 days any employer if they had the same type of role and wage level can port their 485 application by filing 485j and you dont need to start again from perm.

Bottom line is that your 485 application needs to be pending for more than 180days then your good. If something happens before then need to start everything again.
