Ryzen_renoir Posted March 8, 2021 Report Posted March 8, 2021 The Pinarayi Vijayan-led LDF government is projected to retain power in the Kerala assembly elections, winning 82 seats in the 140-member assembly, according to an opinion survey conducted by Times Now-CVoter. According to the opinion poll, the Congress-led UDF is likely to fall short of the majority mark, bagging just 56 seats in the assembly. The survey showed no improvement for the BJP in the state, with the party managing just one seat this year, like in the 2016 elections. Chief minister Vijayan remains the most popular pick for the top post in the state, with 42.3% of the people saying they are very satisfied with his performance. Interestingly, a majority of the people in the state chose Rahul Gandhi as the most suitable candidate for the prime ministerial post. Quote
