It actually makes sense to buy a home.. rents are too high everywhere… 2bed min 2K undi in most areas.. might as well buy a home, get some roommates and pay the mortgage..

I have a question, experts please help me answer the question:

Let say I bought a house for 600k and I made a down payment of 20% (120k). Now if the value of the house goes down to 500k still I owe 480k to bank right? And any more If’s and but’s? Just started researching now buying a house.

you don't need to put 20% down there is no rule like that.
