S&P 500 next 2000

For S&P to go to 2000, we need a severe recession and when that happens, there wont be any inflation as demand will be much lesser. We will have deflation at that time and so Fed will decrease interest rates.

With that said, anything is possible but the situations should change drastically IMO for a 2000 S&P (Even Covid low is above 2000).

2008 Style crash will get S&P 2200..... which is Covid lows.

Don't expect FED to come to rescue with Quantitative Easing and zero rates this time due to 40 year inflation..... If they do another QE after recession...... Inflation will hit double digits next round and whole economy will collapse.

Europe is in horrible shape economically..... China is in its own mess and US ...... Putin will starve Europe of gas this winter.
