It’s definitely she needs to be relax from her routine work, Ask your friend to help in day to day home chores 

Check for Vitamin D and B12 .. these two deficient will leads to Anxiety and depression and if she is coffe lover better to stop immediately 

Ask your friend to sit and talk to openly in a silent manner after taking her to romantic dinner 

It’s better to bring her parents and stay here for sometime that can help her 

it could not be solved with Egos on botg sides it requires compromise and accept ence
