Popular Post krishnaaa
US has lot of debt and has not much growth left. With average age increasing and immigrants being mistreated and the political system taking a long time to implement reforms....do you guys think that US has any future? While India is just getting started....our political system...although imperfect....is implementing reforms at a rapid pace. NRIs would probably start coming back in less than a decade. What do you guys think? Any rebuttal? 2 6 Quote Post To Videos

Popular Post Android_Halwa
Demographic changes are happening much faster than they used to be... Previous generation people who came to US never had a thought to move back...but present gen people who came to US have a dual intent. I think it's all about wealth. India is growing and money getting multiplied because of positive economic outlook and good projections. NRI's need to be categorized as GC/Citizen/PR NRI's and non-PR NRI's. With the way things are going on, there is a good percentage who are showing interest to move back to India compared to a decade back. 3 9 Quote Post To Videos
Popular Post Raven_Rayes
nice joke. what 'reforms' is India implementing? as for growth, India's growth is debt fueled for the most part. It's still not producing much that the world wants. Even China makes stuff that Indians wanna buy, but not the other way around. So this kinda growth will hit a ceiling before you even know it. US doesn't have to 'grow' to be attractive to Indians. merely escaping the hellhole India is enough motivation. may be some NRIs will return. but they will be the kind who won't add much value to India anyway. India's biggest strength is its low paid slave labour. Not the NRIs or high earners. NRIs moving back to India should do pooja everyday to their fav god, and hope that these low paid labour don't suddenly realise the scam that is Indian economy and start rioting on the streets or even worse. 5 Quote Post To Videos

Raven_Rayes
the better question would be - are NRIs trying to bring their conservative crap from India into the US? yes they are. and those types should be socially shamed and excluded. Indians have absolutely nothing of worth to teach the US. 1 Quote Post To Videos

India is much more nimble compared to US where skilled immigrants are treated as criminals. It takes a global pandemic plus a travel ban for immigrants living over a decade to get their Green Card. Salaries and lifestyle in India are attractive enough to to retain talent. Only problem is pollution which will start getting better with EV revolution. It would also reduce India's reliance on imported crude oil. On the other hand, US faces shortage of people......Social Security wil fail if there aren't young workers to contribute. Even if India has debt, it has lot of growth ahead to manage it. Average age of Indians is 28.5 while USA is 38.5. I can understand that lot of people got hurt in India....but the India you left isn't the India that is right now and for sure its not going to be the same in about a decade. 5 Quote Post To Videos

Because their political system is broken. Look at the below video. Presidents are overly dependent on executive orders ....since Obama. The first file that Obama signed was to close guantanamo bay.....and its still open. Quote Post To Videos
Android_Halwa
India from within the country has never really cared or bothered about NRI's neither it will do so in the years to come. Being an NRI is no big deal, except within your family circles to boast off your materialistic achievements. The day is not too far away when NRI's work in USA to care for their needs and for wealth generation look at India. It's already happening. 1 1 Quote Post To Videos

I certainly wouldn't live in India, picking up slack for psychos who live there. I'm taking my chances with racists and assholes in the west than with 'my own people'. if you think US politics is broken, wait till you live in India. 1 Quote Post To Videos
Popular Post Android_Halwa
The world's oldest democracy has reached this stage at 200 plus years. The world's largest democracy is still young at 70, which means a lot more will be coming our way. Work in USA, earn in dollars and invest in rupees. It will give you rich dividends. FYI, Indian capital markets are one the best performing markets right now. 1 7 Quote Post To Videos

Even Generic Pharma which used to be one of the rare success stories from India is now getting a bad rep. 1 Quote Post To Videos
