After Kakatiyas, Musunuri Nayaks united all Andhra and telangana and ruled from warangal, all Generals supported them claiming kakatiya inheritance.  Rachakonda Nayaks took help from bahamani sultans and defeated musunuri nayaks, after some time bahamani sultans absorbed Telangana into their kingdom. and muslims ruled till Independence..

Our History people are so great, they didnt want to mention musnuri nayaks, as they successfully rebelled against muslims, one of the first in the country where muslims are ousted..

our langa people have even bigger problem. They dont want to mention musunu nayaka because he united all telugu country in to one.

Langas like @bharathicement @Android_Halwa would rather be jai singhs serving owaisi then accept telugu people.

If Andhra and Telangana were united in the past, why did Nizams only rule Telangana and not Andhra?

Nizams rules both ra tubelight. Machilipatnam was a port of nizam until british took it from them.

Based on this, Nizams ruled Costa and Rayalaseema, but why no Urdu influence?

andhra rolled back urdu influence and re-asserted telugu language. Jsut like telangana peopel welcomed with both arms telugu film industry and not so much the bollywood.

Looks like Velama Dora’s ruled lot of kingdoms in Andhra and Telangana which is very surprising. Thought they were only confined to Telanagana and tagged as Dora’s there

Anna, Velamas are native to Guntur District. After Palanati war(brahma naidu etc), Kamma caste split into Kamma and Velama.

Velanati Chodas of kammanadu(guntur/prasakm dist, karma nadu named due to Buddhism being main religion at that time) used to support Tamil Cholas, Kakateeya's supported one faction in Palanadu war knowing it will weaken velanati Cholas and inturn it will Weaken Tamil Cholas as these guys are the main army of CHolas.

After the war, Kakateeya plan worked and kakateeya's absorbed Kammanadu into their kingdom, and encouraged migration.

at that time there are not so many castes or population centers in telugu areas.. Kammanadu, Vengi (Godavari areas) are the most populated areas. North andhra is under Orissa Gajapathi kings..Rayalaseema is not developed then..
