There are lot of kid with mental retardation. Autism has lot of support and community resources in US , compared to India it is better to raise kids here. My dads best friend kid has Mental retardation and needs constant supervision , wife committed suicide due to this and he married second wife and able to care for the kid at home. They didn’t ask any one a penny 

we used to go and help the kid and play with them some time. 
 

you can’t give million to every one , and reason for donations are becoming more and more securing for future and not for immediate needs

we both worked in same org until a year ago.. very nice guy.. came to USA 15 years ago.. spent lot of money on kids health and therapy.. moved into a new house 3 months ago (since he had to spend lot of money on his kids).. most of the savings are stuck as house down payment.. unfortunately he got his house at a high price ..

his wife doesnt work since she has to take care of kids.. she can't goto India since she has minimal support there..support for autism kids is much much better in USA than in India..

If expenses are so high not sure why he went and pour all money and bought a million dollar house. 

In general scenario there is a house insurance like this death happens they are covered.
