Many NRI are moving back to India from US. Look at their feedback. They are very happy and the common term they use is "Fulfilled life" Not sure as to why you call it a beggar country. When you are in trouble, how would you survive in US? That beggar country called India is where you were able to get college education for cheap and able to do job in US. If our families were in US, many wouldn't even be able to afford college. In india, you can live with your family in a decent apartment with less than 10k Rs in rent. Healthcare is cheap and govt covers even a big operation. Many old people need assistance and they have a room for their help. In US healthcare is expensive and there is this idiotic single family zoning and hiring help is prohibitively expensive. Many live in IT bubble and compare the work environment. Nowadays, the work environment is same everywhere. Indians spoiled the environment here as well. Not much difference.

There is a change in overall consumption pattern. More demand, more spending power encourages local manufacturing.
