There is also kaakani govardhan reddy , but most of the political families in nellore aren't loyal to a party because of ego issues they have been in politics from a long time almost since independence and don't want to be subservient to others.without complete loyalty you can't climb to top positions in the party. even darsi mla plus abhinay reddy will be important to ycp. Mantralayam mla is from a powerful family too but I don't think he is that close to jagan. From coastal Andhra perni nani,kodali nani ,botsa are big leaders loyal to jagan.

Nellore has very strong leaders in ysrcp . Mekapati , Adala , Nedurumalli and Nallapureddy families . I think they can easily dominate the No 2 position in the party . So far , rayalaseema leaders like sajjala , peddireddy ruled the roost . Within ycp , I think the following leaders will become more important in the coming years - Kethireddy , Silpa Ravikishore reddy , Mithun reddy from rayalaseema and prasanna kumar reddy , vikram reddy and n ramkumar reddy from nellore .
