what is surprising is that even in Bangalore a lot of the real estate is in Reddy's hands. A lot of them migrated from Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool and Chittoor districts and settled in Bangalore in the last 30 -40 years.. We were looking for an apartment to buy in Bangalore last year and I was surprised by the sheer number of Reddy landlords there.. may not be as dominant as Hyderabad like 70 to 80% but I would say more like 25 to 30% which is still very high considering it's a different state ..

You stayed for 180 days right? you applied in Oct, but when did you go to india before applying? verification is going to MROs these days. my case went, but said without 180 days they cannot approve it, scared. money is mandatory anyways.

Adhar is card for residents, it does not give any indication on citizenship status. so, if you stay in india for 180 days, you are eligible for it. There is a demand from OCIs to reduce it to meaningful practical limit of 30 to 50 days.
