YCP Is Doubtful About 'Opposition Status'

Revenge Voting la vundhi by Andhra people

Agreed.. 1st year you may see lot of arrests and attacks... after that it will slow down.. still i doubt the implementation of welfare schemes.. it takes some time. I think the Free bus scheme will be opened first. remaining ones will be rolled out later. CPS for employees may get dragged as this is something central need to come with. Now Modi will listen no doubt for that. If CBN can not bring funds to AP in these 5 years then it would be pointless to elect him in upcoming elections..
  9. govt won't let him do it easily..
  10. just saying uncle...its not really like JSP reduced its seats...PK from the beginning is saying he is targeting 98% strike rate...so there is no point in grabbing more seats if he is not 100% sure
  11. In a shocking turn, YCP groups are now doubting if their party can hold at least the 'opposition party' status in the Assembly. To attain this status, the party needs 18 seats, and now the lead is only 20-21, which may shift by the end. Even if YCP scores more than 18 seats, there is another significant concern that there could be many defections from the winning YCP candidates to the NDA side, putting YCP's position at complete risk. Narendra Modi openly stated in his meetings and a TV interview that he was confident YCP would not make a comeback in Andhra Pradesh, which has proven true, though many didnt believe. Now, even holding the 'opposition party' status is in doubt for YCP.

  15. The main reason for the shocking defeat of YSRCP has been attributed to many things, as a postmortem analysis. Right from YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to the entire party cadre, they firmly kept faith in the people who received various welfare schemes, but the result is completely topsy-turvy. Though the below aspects were addressed even earlier, the top leaders in the party considered all those as trivial and believed that nothing can be a complaint when voters are behind the party. Those main aspects are: - Ignoring the party workers and believing in corporates like IPac. - Forgetting the social media army that stood by the party during the 2019 election. - Distancing the own community voters in the mood of attracting backward communities - Very poor media management - Keeping the able leaders away and encouraging faces like Sajjala and Chevireddy who don't know how to project the party and its high command in the right spirit. - Holding a liquor policy that boomeranged badly - Failure in projecting whatever development was done in the form of ports, schools, and hospitals. - Over boasting about welfare activities which irritated the non beneficiaries. - Some leaders indecently hurting their opponents with filthy words. These factors contributed to the silent anti incumbency which didn't subside by the welfare schemes like 'Amma Odi', 'Nadu Nedu', 'Raitu Bharosa Kendram' or anything else.

  21. Breaking down publicly over the humiliation he faced in Andhra Pradesh Assembly in November 2021, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and then leader of opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu had vowed to return to Assembly as Chief Minister. Two-and-half years later, he is set to return to the Assembly as the Chief Minister following the party's superb show. Alleging that the MLAs of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) humiliated him by making personal remarks about his wife Bhuvaneswari, the seasoned politician from Andhra Pradesh had turned emotional and broke down at a news conference on November 19, 2021. Stating that he never faced such humiliation in his political life, he likened the Assembly to 'Kaurava Sabha' and decided to boycott it till 2024. The Assembly had witnessed dramatic scenes when Chandrababu Naidu vowed to come to the House again only as a Chief Minister while staging a walkout in protest against a barrage of personal comments made by YSRCP MLAs during a discussion on the agriculture sector. Chandrababu Naidu had said his wife never interfered in politics but the YSR Congress leaders dragged her name and resorted to character assassination. The TDP president had stated that he tolerated all the humiliations during the last two-and-a-half years but the ruling party crossed all limits. The TDP chief had appealed to people to extend support to him in this fight for 'dharma'. During the debate in the Assembly, the YSRCP MLAs had alleged that Naidu had a hand in the murder of Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga and Alimineti Madhava Reddy. They also blamed him for his father-in-law N.T. Rama Rao's downfall. Amid heated exchange, Minister Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao reportedly uttered an abusive word about Chandrababu Naidu, leading to a pandemonium. Later, the TDP chief told told the House that he was deeply perturbed with the insults heaped on him and claimed that his family was being dragged into the muddle at the behest of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Chandrababu Naidu regretted that after nearly four decades of his political career during which he rubbed shoulders with the who's who of national leaders, he had to face this humiliation. He then swore that he would not come back to the House till he becomes the Chief Minister.
