I applied for home loan in SBI and after my credit/ legal verifications I got sanction letter for 1 crore with interest rate 7.7% During same time, union bank of India also did my credit check and approved me for 7.45% interest rate I informed the same to SBI loan agent, he then mentioned “Your File sanctioned 7.70% but we are initiated property show lead so you will get 7.35% after loan documentation at the time 1st disbursement. This applies for you and all property lead show customers” PS: SBI Property lead show he mentioned was held recently at Hyderabad during Dec 19-21 2025. So the dates match. Can something like this happen in SBI? Is agent telling me truth?
