TCS has already cut over 30,000 jobs in the last six months amid profit declines and AI-driven restructuring. And now it has been confirmed that the company would continue to fire more employees in the next few months as well. Recent TCS Q3 FY26 data confirms an 11,151-employee reduction, marking the second consecutive quarter of downsizing. The company is extensively restructuring itself in response to the ongoing AI revolution, and this shift is coming at the cost of its human workforce. If safe companies like TCS are also going ahead with layouts, then this could be a pretty strong indication that the Indian IT sector could be for major sizing downs in the near future. This could leave the domestic entry level and senior workforce in a state of absolute shambles.

Human ki india lo value undadu anna. My relatives think its awesome to get food/item delivery in 10 min in Hyd and make fun that we dont get it in US. I keep telling them to remember the guy who is bringing that food/item and that model works because that human does not have anything better to do in that country. I would rather have a society where ppl do better/higher level work than delivering tuppas/bakwaas items and food in 10 min.
